So I've been playing Super Mario Galaxy and can confirm that even in-game on the title screen the only stars that shine in and out are the ones on the box cover as well.
No just the artists then, but the games designers too.

Wii is Back
No this isnt a LOL cat joke 
, but a celebration on the fact that I got my Nintendo Wii back. Well, not the one I sent for repair, but rather a brand new one. Nice job Nintendo.
And to celebrate I bought Super Mario Galaxy. Now the artwork is interesting as it has a subliminal message in the title. There are stars underneath the letters, and when you read the letters that are starred, it reveals a hidden message.
